2022-2023 JNHS Officers!

Officers for 2022-23 and some of their specific roles:

Co-President:

• Running the meetings
• Report directly to advisors Hara sensei and Kobayashi sensei and always check with them
• Notification of meetings, communication with members
• Serve as spokespersons/liaison for the group
• Assist other officers as needed

Secretary:

• Record keeping (attendance, participation log, etc.)
• Meeting minutes submission
• Maintaining/sending out attendance form for meetings
• Assist other officers as needed

Treasurer:

• Filling out and submitting deposit slips to ASB in a timely manner.
• Keeping an accurate account of finances
  • Following up with member payments
  • School webstore sale check
• Managing incoming money for fundraisers, t-shirt sales, etc.
• Assist other officers as needed

Media and Communications:

• Editing for Yamaneko News releases
• Working with Hara Sensei to update JNHS Website
• Creating posters/advertisements for events
• Helping send announcements when necessary
• Possibly working with El Gato/Yearbook to cover events
• Reaching out to other clubs
• Assist other officers as needed

Event Planning Chair:

• Reach out to administration (ex. Mr. Nespor, ASB, leadership, etc.) before events like Haiku Holiday Film Fair, Boba Sale, End of year lunch
• Onigiri boss
  • Organize the calendar for Rice Making/Clean-up
  • Teach/be in charge of making sure members know how to make rice
  • Make sure the advisor and officers know when rice/furikake/nori/plastic wrap, etc. are about to run out.
• Assist other officers as needed
